Findley family history [manuscript], circa 1900-1920.

Six chapters of Findley family history. First folder is a biography of James L. Findley and Caroline Buell Findley, Oregon pioneers, as told by descendant Sarah Buell Findley Redford, handwritten, and titled "A sketch of pioneer days: In honor of my parents and grandparents, pioneers of Oregon." Remaining five folders are chapters from the "memoirs" of Alexander B. and Sarah Jane Findley, apparently written by Sarah Buell Findley Redford writing as Alexander B. Findley, and include v.1: ch.4 ("A true story of when the West was young: Preparations for the emigration of 1847," describing the 1840s), v.2: ch. 1("The land of the winding waters," describing the 1860s), v.2: ch.6 ("A period of development," describing the 1870s), v.2: ch. 11 ("Three bandits rob the bank," describing the 1880s), and v.2: ch. 12 ("A journey down memory lane").
